B & B on the Rock: Music

Whisper on the Breeze

(B & B on the Rock)
Luke 8:43 - 48; Matthew 9:20 - 22

The woman who touched Christ's cloak believing she would be healed was indeed healed. Her faith in Christ was great, and she was touched by Divine Love.
When all others have forsaken and this pain is all I feel
In this crowd I’m all alone, a touch from you can heal
my lost spirit wanders, begging comfort, begging trust
Come inside my heart, come inside my pain and touch
my soul with heaven’s warm embrace
Like the sunlight sneaking sweetly through the trees
When all others have forsaken me
You give me hope, like a whisper on the breeze.

Weaker, smaller vessel, without power, wealth, or fame
Sometimes I’ve felt forgotten; does God even know my name?
So many times I felt like no one, so many times I felt unreal
Living was elusive, impossible to feel
But healing breaks through
Like the sunlight sneaking sweetly through the trees
when all others turned away from me
You gave me hope, like a whisper on the breeze.

I was created equal in God’s image just the same
My mirror is not perfect, but You take me as I am.
You treat me as your sister, so I realize it’s true
That I have so much to offer, and there is much that I can do
and I feel heaven’s warm embrace
Like sunlight dancing through the trees
No matter what a man may do
you’re there like a whisper on the breeze.
